Academics play a vital role in the development of a child's personality and building their future. It helps them in gaining knowledge and defining a perspective for the world around them. From the very beginning of a child's career development, we at Dr Radhakrishnan International School prepare them to face challenges and motivate them to excel in whatever they aspire to do.
Our academics curriculum is not only textual, but we also give equal importance to practical learning and competitive edge. The practical education is not only defined within the classroom and laboratories in school. From time to time, we organise various educational exhibitions. The theme and topic of the exhibition is based out of the topics taught in the classroom as well as on the most relevant general topic. We also promote art & crafts and all extra curricular activities. These exhibitions give chance to students to express their own perspectives on topics and also to research and experiment on their own.
The school keeps the students motivated and prepares them to face challenges and competition. The students are encouraged to participate in various Olympiads in different subjects. Our students eagerly and actively participate in the Maths Olympiad conducted by the edu Heal Foundation for classes 3 to 12. Our students have managed to achieve Gold, silver and bronze medals at school level and class wise 5 students qualified for the second level and among them one was selected at the final level.
Our all the budding scientists and science geeks participate in the Science Olympiad conducted by the Science Olympiad foundation (SOF). Some of our students have managed to qualify for the final level.
We also encourage our students to go green. They look forward to participate in the Green Olympiad conducted by TERI- The Energy Research Institute for classes 8, 9, and 10.
Delhi state Science teachers Association conducts SOMT (Science Open Merit Test) which is compulsory for all students of class 10th .
The commerce Olympiad organised by Commerce teachers’ foundation for classes 11 & 12 commerce children is compulsory for all students of commerce. We feel proud that our children have scored 95 and above percentile.
Our students also participate in the Spellinc National champion ship –organized by Linc Pen, and Spelling competition organized by S V C Guild. Another Olympiad in which our students have managed to excel is the Maths, English and science exam conducted by Australian council of educational research.
Apart from these Olympiads, Dr Radhakrishnan International School conducts various competitions within the school. Competitions encourage students to perform better, work harder, and it promotes healthy competitive behavior.
