The Association of RK International with the CDLS program

Dr. Radhakrishnan International School understands the need of spreading and promoting the spirit of brotherhood and cultural interaction among students of different nations. This is why we feel proud to be associated with the Community Development Leadership Summit (CDLS) annually. The program is conducted by the Modern School.

Through the Community Development Leadership Summit, the school invites foreign students from participant school of CDLS. The visiting students are from various schools across the globe. Students of top schools from more than 30 countries of the world have visited the school already. The participating Countries are: Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Laos PDR, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Phillippines, Russia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UAE, UK, USA, and Vietnam.

The main aim of this program is to spread brotherhood and promote multiculturalism. Various traditional dances and folklores are one of the main attractions of this summit. One to one interactions and various group discussions on highly relevant issues such as poverty, religion, terrorism, economic pressures etc. are the key features of the Community Development Leadership Summit.

Through this summit, the students accept and understand the different array of cultural and community perspectives. The students gain an enhanced interest in global issues and adopt a new and alternative approach to learning. At a personal level, the students enhance their self-confidence and self-esteem. They gain a sense of self-accomplishment. They gain independent opinions and strive to attain fresh goals.

Dr. Radhakrishnan International School understands that for a better development and growth of a students personality, these types of exchange programs and summits are important. The school takes a keen interest in the Community Development Leadership Summit (CDLS) every year.
